The server is always open and currently in Open Alpha with a 10 player limit. Developers and staff may take priority when slots are full. Expect restarts and bugs because this is the playtest phase. The planned full launch is December 2025 when the player cap and stability will increase.

No. The server is always open and does not require a whitelist. Alpha testing has a 10 player limit and developers or staff may take priority if slots are full, but everyone can join while space is available.
EXCISION:RPG is a unique mix of freeroam and roleplay with MMORPG inspired systems like crafting, quests and jobs. It is not a strictly heavy roleplay server and is designed to have something for everyone. Casual players who are not deep into roleplay can still enjoy the game world, while roleplay is encouraged and supported. The server is not meant to be a random deathmatch arena, but there are high action zones and scenarios for those who want them, such as heists and bank robberies.
Players can form groups freely. At launch, gangs are NPC controlled so new players can join instantly. Over time the admins will monitor for active, dedicated and trustworthy players to take over leadership of a gang. Gangs will always remain open for anyone to join, but leaders can shape the gang's lore and direction, and can suggest new scripts or scenarios to influence how the gang evolves in the future. Players can also create their own groups using the in game social phone app, which makes it easier to see group members on the map and share progress or activities together.
ATM robberies are already working. Full scale bank heists are under development and planned before or around the December 2025 launch. Other heists are also available and can be discovered in game.
You can work as police, paramedic, taxi driver, trucker, pilot, hunter, freelancer, business owner and more. Activities include crafting, trading, drug dealing, smuggling, house robberies and turf wars. New jobs and activities are added regularly.
Yes. Players can race on multiple dynamic race tracks and compete for the best times. Dedicated racers can create and share their own tracks using the unique in game race track editor. A racing tablet helps you manage races, track leaderboards, beat highscores and earn rewards.
Yes. EXCISION:RPG runs on the FiveM platform, offering custom scripts, roleplay and freeroam systems optimized for Grand Theft Auto V.
If you can normally run GTA V on FiveM you can play EXCISION:RPG. We optimize scripts and assets to reduce lag and keep performance stable even in busy areas.
Yes. You can buy houses, start and manage businesses, trade with other players and influence the in game economy.
Most-likely, but not guaranteed. We may lower player cash or bank balances to a set ceiling to avoid unfair advantages, or we may completely reset everything. Some content such as vehicles, buildings or businesses might change before launch and could be removed or replaced. Any future wipes or resets will be reviewed case by case and we will inform players ahead of time. Compensation will be provided to testers if it is considered fair.
Absolutely. Sharing and streaming helps grow the community. The more active players we have during Alpha the faster we can refine and balance features. If you plan to stream and would like to avoid unexpected interruptions, you can let us know on Discord so we can be aware and help your session run smoothly.
No. EXCISION:RPG only supports FiveM, which means you need a PC with Grand Theft Auto V installed to access the server.
Yes. You must own a valid, legal copy of Grand Theft Auto V to play on EXCISION:RPG. We do not support playing without a legitimate game license, and accounts attempting to bypass this will be permanently blocked from our systems.
